The 8th International Conference on Communication and Computational Technologies (ICCCT 2026) was organized on February 13–14, 2026 in hybrid mode by the National Forensic Sciences University, Goa Campus, India, with technical sponsorship from the Soft Computing Research Society. The conference served as an international platform for researchers, academicians, and industry experts to share advancements and foster collaboration in emerging areas of communication and computational technologies.

The event received an overwhelming academic response, attracting 1,357 research paper submissions from across the globe. Following a rigorous peer review process supported by 626 reviewers, 145 papers were accepted and registered, resulting in a selective acceptance rate of 11 percent. Contributions were received from nine countries including Bangladesh, France, India, Morocco, Nigeria, Serbia, United States, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam, reflecting the conference’s international reach and diversity of participation.

The technical program was strengthened by the presence of five keynote speakers and nine invited speakers who shared insights into current research trends and technological innovations. The conference was honored by the presence of Padma Shri Dr. J. M. Vyas, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of the National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar, as Chief Guest, whose participation underscored the significance of the event within the global academic and research community.

ICCCT 2026 featured 26 parallel technical sessions structured around major thematic tracks including Intelligent Systems: Algorithms and Applications, Emerging Techniques, Communication and Control Systems, and Informatics and Applications. These sessions provided an active forum for presenting original research findings, exchanging ideas, and encouraging interdisciplinary dialogue among participants.

The proceedings of the conference will be published in the Scopus indexed Springer book series Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems, ensuring international visibility and accessibility of presented research contributions. The publication series is indexed in major databases including Scopus, DBLP, INSPEC, SCImago, zbMATH, and others, further enhancing the academic impact and dissemination of the work presented at the conference.

Through high quality submissions, global participation, and extensive technical deliberations, ICCCT 2026 successfully fostered knowledge exchange and collaboration in communication and computational technologies. The conference reaffirmed its position as an important international forum dedicated to advancing research, innovation, and scholarly engagement in rapidly evolving technological domains.
