The 3rd World Congress on Smart Computing (WCSC 2026), a major international forum in the area of advanced computing technologies, has announced a series of prestigious awards recognizing excellence in research, innovation, and industry leadership. The congress is scheduled to be held on January 10–11, 2026, at Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square, Bangkok, Thailand. The event is organized by the Soft Computing Research Society (SCRS) and is being conducted in association with the International Auditors for Digital and Data Management Association, Bangkok, Thailand. WCSC 2026 aims to bring together researchers, academicians, industry experts, and technology leaders from across the world to exchange ideas and showcase cutting-edge developments in smart computing.
As part of the conference, WCSC 2026 has instituted a comprehensive awards program to honor individuals and research contributions that have demonstrated significant academic merit, technological innovation, and real-world impact. Among the major recognitions, the AI/ML Researcher Excellence Award has been conferred upon Ms. Shalini Polamarasetti, Senior Salesforce Developer at SS&C Technologies, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to research and innovation in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Her work reflects both strong academic grounding and practical relevance in real-world applications.
The Quantum AI Innovation Award has been awarded to Mr. Rahul Vadisetty from the Gemological Institute of America for his pioneering efforts at the intersection of Quantum Computing and Artificial Intelligence. The award acknowledges innovative approaches with high potential to influence future technological advancements in intelligent systems.
In addition to these awards, the congress also features the Industry Leader in Cloud Computing Award, which recognizes professionals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in designing, deploying, and scaling cloud-based solutions that drive business transformation and innovation. The Emerging Tech Leader – AI and Data Science Award has been instituted to honor rising professionals who have shown strong leadership and impactful contributions in artificial intelligence and data science across academia or industry. The Data Scientist of the Year Award celebrates excellence in data-driven problem-solving, advanced analytics, and the delivery of actionable insights that significantly influence decision-making and outcomes.
Continuing its emphasis on academic excellence, WCSC 2026 will also present the Best Paper (Track Wise) Award to outstanding research papers presented across various technical tracks of the conference. The awardees will receive an appreciation certificate along with a gift voucher for annual membership of the Soft Computing Research Society equivalent to INR 1500.
The after-conference proceedings of WCSC 2026 will be published in Springer’s reputed book series, Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems, ensuring global visibility and academic recognition for the accepted research contributions.
