The 2nd International Conference on Business Intelligence and Data Analytics (BIDA 2025) was successfully held on April 12–13, 2025, at Manipal University Jaipur, bringing together a vibrant community of researchers, academicians, and industry professionals from across the globe. The conference served as a key platform for sharing innovative research and practical advancements in the fields of business intelligence, data analytics, and emerging technologies.
BIDA 2025 received an overwhelming response with 601 paper submissions from eight countries, including Bangladesh, Fiji, Finland, India, Serbia, Thailand, the USA, and Vietnam. The submissions underwent a rigorous double-blind review process involving 786 reviewers, out of which 82 papers were accepted and registered, resulting in a highly competitive acceptance rate of 14%. The selected papers were slated for publication in the Scopus-indexed Springer Book Series “Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies”, further enhancing the academic value of the event.
The conference featured a distinguished lineup of 15 invited speakers, who provided deep insights into contemporary challenges and innovations in data science and related areas. Notable keynote speakers included Mr. Aninda Bose, Executive Editor – Interdisciplinary Applied Sciences at Springer Nature, UK; Dr. Kiran Veigas, Vice President and Head of Corporate Marketing, Branding & Communications at Happiest Minds Technologies; and Mr. Naveen Kumar Bhansali, Co-founder and CTO of BlitzAI and Adjunct Faculty at IIM Bangalore. They were joined by other prominent industry experts such as Mr. Shantanu Jha from Microsoft, Mr. Senthil Bogana from Meta, Mr. Rahul Amte from Nivid Infotech Inc., and Mr. Sunil Kumar Suvvari, an independent researcher and agile project management consultant with a strong focus on digital accessibility.
In addition to the stellar technical program, the leadership team of BIDA 2025 included eminent scholars and professionals who served as General Chairs of the conference. These included Prof. Justin Zhang, Coggin College of Business, Florida, USA; Dr. Abhishek Verma, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak; Dr. Purushottam Bung, Professor & Director, RV Institute of Management (RVIM), Bangalore; Dr. Noor Firdoos Jahan, Professor & Head, Department of Marketing, RVIM Bangalore; and Prof. Dieu Hack-Polay, Professor in Management at Crandall University (Canada) and the University of Lincoln (UK). Their guidance and international vision were instrumental in shaping the success of the event.
The conference program included two keynote talk sessions, three plenary talks, and two industry-invited speaker sessions, along with 16 parallel technical sessions. These covered diverse thematic tracks such as Intelligent Techniques, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Emerging Techniques, Image Processing, and Computer Vision. Participants had the opportunity to present their latest work, engage in deep discussions, and foster meaningful collaborations.
Overall, BIDA 2025 proved to be a resounding success, fostering academic excellence, industry engagement, and global knowledge exchange. The conference continued its mission of promoting high-quality research and solidified its reputation as a premier international platform in the domains of business intelligence and data analytics.
