The 2nd Congress on Control, Robotics, and Mechatronics (CRM2024) took place on February 3-4, 2024, attracting significant global participation and fostering insightful discussions on the latest advancements in the fields of robotics, control systems, and mechatronics. The event, which included contributions from over 474 submissions, saw 63 papers being accepted and registered, reflecting a highly competitive acceptance rate of just 14%.
The conference, which aimed to provide a platform for researchers and experts to exchange ideas and present innovative solutions, featured a diverse range of participants from 12 countries, including Bangladesh, China, India, Malaysia, Morocco, Nigeria, Paraguay, Peru, Russia, Serbia, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam. The event’s global nature underscored the widespread interest in these critical areas of engineering and technology.
CRM2024 was honored by the presence of distinguished keynote speakers, including Prof. Chittaranjan Hota from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Hyderabad; Dr. Y. Ravi Kumar from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal; and Dr. Elango Natarajan from UCSI University, Malaysia. Their presentations provided invaluable insights into the cutting-edge research and emerging trends in control, robotics, and mechatronics.
The conference featured 12 parallel sessions covering key tracks such as Intelligent Systems, Control, Mechatronics, and Robotics. These sessions offered a deep dive into various subfields, encouraging knowledge exchange among participants. A total of 423 reviews were received, highlighting the rigorous peer-review process that ensured the quality of the papers presented.
In addition to the academic content, CRM2024 was supported by an esteemed Advisory Committee, which included Andries P. Engelbrecht from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, Debashis Ghosh (Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee), Jagdish Chand Bansal from South Asian University New Delhi, Dr. Kusum Kumari Bharti from Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur and Bijay Ketan Panigrahi (Indian Institute of Technology Delhi).
The event was organized under the leadership of General Chairs Dr. Brijesh Tripathi, Prof. Deepak Garg, Dr. Pradeep Kumar Jha, Dr. Prashant Jamwal, and Dr. Harish Sharma. Their collective efforts contributed to the smooth running of the conference, which also marked an important milestone for the Smart Innovation, Systems, and Technologies publication series by Springer, a SCOPUS-indexed journal.
CRM2024 successfully served as a platform for fostering collaboration, enhancing knowledge, and building networks among researchers and professionals working at the forefront of robotics and mechatronics, promising further advancements in these transformative fields.
