5th Congress on Intelligent Systems (CIS 2024): A Landmark Event in AI and Computational Intelligence

The 5th Congress on Intelligent Systems (CIS 2024) successfully concluded on September 4-5, 2024, marking yet another milestone in advancing research in Artificial Intelligence and Computational Intelligence. The event witnessed participation from around the globe, with 976 research papers submitted by authors from 16 countries, including Algeria, Germany, India, USA, and Vietnam. Of these, 171 papers were accepted and registered, resulting in a stringent acceptance rate of 18%, reflecting the high standards of the conference.

The conference was held under the financial sponsorship of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, and was organized in collaboration with the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter and the ACM Student Chapter at CHRIST University, Bangalore. CIS 2024 proceedings were published in the Scopus Indexed Springer Book Series "Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems", enhancing the visibility and impact of the contributions.

Renowned experts delivered keynote speeches, captivating the audience with insights into cutting-edge technologies and research. The distinguished speakers included:

The conference featured 24 parallel sessions covering diverse tracks such as Image Processing and Computer Vision, Computational Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Emerging Techniques, and Intelligent Systems.

Under the leadership of General Chairs Jagdish Chand Bansal (South Asian University, Delhi), Mary Anita EA, and Sandeep Kumar (CHRIST University, Bangalore), alongside Prof. Atulya K. Nagar (Liverpool Hope University, UK) and Joong Hoon Kim (Korea University, South Korea), CIS 2024 proved to be a collaborative platform for knowledge exchange and innovation.

With the presence of 995 expert reviewers ensuring rigorous quality control, CIS 2024 reaffirmed its commitment to fostering academic excellence and global collaboration in the field of intelligent systems.
