The 2nd International Conference on Smart Technology and Artificial Intelligence (STAI 2026), organized by the ACM Fremont Chapter USA and technically sponsored by EST India Foundation, Delhi, India, was successfully held on April 04–05, 2026. The conference witnessed an overwhelming global response with 732 paper submissions from six countries including India, China, Nepal, Peru, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Out of these, 64 high-quality papers were accepted and registered, resulting in a competitive acceptance rate of 9%. A strong panel of 276 reviewers ensured a rigorous peer-review process. The conference featured 11 tracks spanning Data Science & Big Data, Intelligent Systems, and Smart Technologies.
The proceedings of the conference will be published in the SCOPUS-indexed Springer book series Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems, ensuring high visibility and global dissemination of the accepted research contributions. The published proceedings will be indexed in leading international databases including SCOPUS, DBLP, INSPEC, the Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals and Series, SCImago, WTI Frankfurt eG, and zbMATH, thereby enhancing the accessibility, citation potential, and academic impact of the research presented at STAI 2026.
STAI 2026 hosted 33 distinguished keynote speakers across 10 keynote sessions, bringing together leading experts from academia and industry. The keynote speakers included Venkata Reddy Pasam, Mohiadeen Ameer, John Wesly Sajja, Karan Radadiya, Nilesh Kumar, Kuljeet Kaur, Bhargav Vadgama, Ravi Teja Thutari, Rahul Rao Juvvadi, Hariprakash Pasumarthi, V Balamuralidhar Sarabu, Vivekananda Reddy Polamreddy, Sravanthi Mallireddy, Venkatramana Reddy Panyala, Rajesh Adepu, Ganesh Adepu, Samiuddin Mohammed, Vijay Kumar Adari, Ravikanth Reddy G, Sasibhushan Rao Chanthati, Nithesh Gudipuri, Md Musa Ali, Vimal Teja Manne, Anam Haider Khan, Amit Banwari Gupta, Mohammad Majharul Islam Jabed, Vishal Punjabi, Deniz Ceylan Kurt, Tolga Tutuncuoglu, Gajendra Babu Thokala, Aswathnarayan Muthukrishnan Kirubakaran, Milan Parikh, and Siva Prasad Nandi, whose insights greatly enriched the technical discourse.
The conference was successfully led under the chairpersonship of Namrata Bhartiya, Data Engineer at Barclays, who served as the Conference Chair and played a pivotal role in steering the event to its success. The award selection process was further strengthened by the contributions of Naveen Garg, Principal Electrical Engineer at Cameron LNG, who served as an Award Committee Member.
The conference also recognized excellence through its award category, honoring ten distinguished professionals: Chaitanya Kulkarni, Gajendra Babu Thokala, Milan Parikh, Chandrashekhar Medicherla, Siva Prasad Nandi, Vinil Pasupuleti, Akash Kumar Agarwal, Manoj Parasa, Anurag Kumar, and Santhosh Reddy Basireddy. Their contributions reflect innovation and impact in their respective domains.
In addition, the technical sessions were effectively chaired by eminent professionals including Shridhar Bhalekar, Amol Agade, Sathwik Rao Sirikonda, Aswathnarayan Muthukrishnan Kirubakaran, Ram Sekhar Bodala, Vinoth Punniyamoorthy, Sachin Singh, Saugat Nayak, Pallavi Shrivastava, Sangeetha Govindarajan, Nithya Krishnan, Vimal Teja Manne, Vijay Kumar Soni, Gopikrishna Yeturi, Deniz Ceylan Kurt, and Tolga Tutuncuoglu, ensuring high-quality discussions and smooth conduct of sessions.
STAI 2026 successfully fostered knowledge exchange, collaboration, and innovation by bringing together researchers, academicians, and industry experts from across the globe. The conference stands as a significant platform for advancing research and development in smart technologies and artificial intelligence, setting a strong benchmark for future editions.
