The 7th World Conference on
Artificial Intelligence: Advances and Applications (WCAIAA 2026) was
successfully conducted on January 30–31, 2026 in hybrid mode, hosted by the
National Forensic Sciences University, Goa Campus, and technically sponsored by
the Soft Computing Research Society (SCRS). The international conference
brought together researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to
exchange insights and innovations in emerging AI driven technologies.
The conference witnessed
remarkable global participation and academic rigor. A total of 1,018 research
papers were submitted, out of which 96 papers were accepted and registered,
resulting in a highly selective acceptance rate of 10%. The peer review process
was supported by 573 reviewers, ensuring quality and relevance of
contributions. Submissions were received from 16 countries including
Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Fiji, Ghana, India, Iraq, Morocco, Nigeria,
Philippines, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom,
United States and Vietnam, highlighting the conference’s strong international
footprint.
The technical program was
enriched by 11 invited speakers and 5 keynote speakers, along with
distinguished plenary sessions delivered by Dr. Naveen Sharma, Senior
Scientist, CSIO Chandigarh, and Mr. Aninda Bose, Executive Editor, Research
Publishing Books, Springer. The event featured 18 parallel sessions across
thematic tracks such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Emerging
Techniques, and Intelligent Sensors, Devices and Applications.
Research contributions presented
at the conference will be published in the SCOPUS indexed Springer book series
Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems, enhancing global visibility and
scholarly impact. Accepted and presented papers are processed through rigorous
post conference publication workflows and indexing channels including Scopus,
DBLP, and INSPEC.
WCAIAA 2026 provided an engaging
platform for discussing advancements in machine learning, deep learning, data
analytics, intelligent sensing, and related AI applications, fostering
collaboration between academia and industry. With high quality contributions,
global representation, and impactful technical sessions, the conference
reaffirmed its role as a significant forum for advancing research and
innovation in artificial intelligence.
