LaserHacks 2025: A New Wave of Innovation and Inclusivity in Hackathons

04 Oct 2025 | 1 year ago | Dr Sakshi Shringi

The Soft Computing Research Society (SCRS) proudly announced LaserHacks 2025, a global hackathon dedicated to inspiring innovation, creativity, and collaboration among students, researchers, and technology enthusiasts. Scheduled for November 15–16, 2025, in New Delhi, India, LaserHacks 2025 is designed as a beginner-friendly, inclusive, and globally accessible hackathon that encourages participation from aspiring innovators regardless of prior experience.

LaserHacks 2025 aims to redefine the hackathon experience by focusing on learning, mentorship, and creativity rather than competition alone. Participants will have the opportunity to explore diverse themes spanning artificial intelligence, data analytics, automation, sustainability, IoT, and software innovation, among others. The event will serve as a vibrant platform for ideation, problem-solving, and networking — empowering young minds to turn bold ideas into impactful solutions.

Unlike conventional hackathons, LaserHacks 2025 emphasizes inclusivity, providing a welcoming environment for newcomers through guided workshops, mentorship sessions, and team-building activities. The event is structured to run across two dynamic days, featuring an opening ceremony, coding and brainstorming sessions, mentorship rounds, judging phases, and an inspiring closing ceremony that celebrates creativity and teamwork.

Participants will compete for recognition across several categories, with awards, digital certifications, and exclusive networking opportunities offered to top-performing teams. Though no monetary prizes are involved, the focus remains on skill-building, visibility, and collaboration with like-minded innovators from around the world.

With the support of SCRS and partner institutions, LaserHacks 2025 promises to attract students, developers, researchers, and early-career professionals from multiple countries, fostering a truly international spirit of innovation. The hackathon’s association with SCRS further reinforces its academic credibility, aligning it with the organization’s mission to promote excellence in soft computing, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.

LaserHacks 2025 stands out not just as a coding challenge, but as a movement to ignite creativity, encourage inclusion, and build a global community of problem-solvers. As the registration portal opens soon, participants are encouraged to form teams, brainstorm ideas, and prepare to code, collaborate, and create for a better future.
