The International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Systems (ICCIS 2025) was organized as a distinguished global platform for researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to share their latest innovations and advancements in the field of computational intelligence and emerging technologies. The conference received an overwhelming response, with 1,137 research papers submitted from 16 countries, including Bangladesh, Benin Republic, Fiji, Germany, India, Iraq, Italy, Nigeria, Peru, Senegal, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, the United States of America, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe. This wide participation reflected the international recognition and academic significance of the event. Each submission underwent a rigorous peer-review process conducted by a panel of 660 expert reviewers, ensuring high standards of research quality and originality. Following this comprehensive evaluation, 134 papers were accepted and registered for presentation, resulting in a competitive acceptance rate of 12%.
The conference featured an impressive lineup of distinguished speakers, including 28 Keynote Speakers, 25 Invited Speakers, and 2 Plenary Speakers. The plenary sessions were delivered by Prof. Donghwi Jung, School of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering, Korea University, Seoul, Republic of Korea, and Dr. N. P. Waghmare, Professor of Practice and Former Director, Forensic Science Laboratory (Goa Police). Their insightful talks, along with those of other eminent speakers, enriched the conference with discussions on the latest research trends and technological innovations. ICCIS 2025 hosted 25 parallel technical sessions organized under five major tracks — Emerging Techniques, Informatics and Applications; Intelligent Systems: Algorithms and Applications; Intelligent Data Analytics and Computing; and Communication and Control Systems. These sessions provided a dynamic platform for presenting innovative research ideas and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration among participants.
All accepted and presented papers were selected for publication in the Scopus-indexed Springer Book Series “Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems,” ensuring global visibility and long-term academic impact. The successful organization of the conference was made possible under the guidance and leadership of the General Chairs — Prof. Lipo Wang (Nanyang Technological University, Singapore), Dr. Hemant Rathore (BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, India), Dr. Jagdish Chand Bansal (South Asian University, New Delhi, India), and Dr. Snehanshu Saha (BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa, India).
With its exceptional academic contributions, diverse international participation, and high-quality publication standards, ICCIS 2025 successfully reinforced its position as a major event in the global research landscape. The conference not only facilitated the exchange of knowledge and ideas across borders but also fostered meaningful collaborations, thereby contributing significantly to the advancement of computational intelligence and system sciences worldwide.
