The 9th International Joint Conference on Advances in Computational Intelligence (IJCACI 2025) was jointly organized by the Washington University of Science and Technology (USA) and the RV Institute of Management (India) in a hybrid mode on August 23–24, 2025. The conference received a total of 859 submissions from researchers representing 12 countries: Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Greece, India, Morocco, Perú, Senegal, Serbia, South Africa, the United States of America, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam. After a rigorous peer-review process conducted by 774 reviewers, only 82 papers were accepted and registered, resulting in a selective acceptance rate of 10%.
The conference program was enriched by 32 keynote speakers and 20 invited speakers, alongside distinguished plenary sessions delivered by Prof. Mohammad Shorif Uddin of Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh, and Mr. Karthick Kumar, Executive Director at Deloitte and a well-known social reformer and purpose-driven leader. To accommodate the diverse contributions, the event featured 18 parallel sessions organized under four major tracks: Data Analytics, Intelligent Systems, Computer Vision, and Emerging Technologies. All accepted and registered papers were published in the SCOPUS-indexed Springer Book Series “Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems”, providing global academic visibility and recognition.
The leadership of IJCACI 2025 was supported by eminent personalities. The Chief Patron of the conference was Engr. Abubokor Hanip, Chairman and Chancellor of the Washington University of Science and Technology, USA. The Patrons included Dr. Hasan Karaburk, President of Washington University of Science and Technology, USA; Dr. (h.c.) A. V. S. Murthy, Hon. Secretary of Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST), Bengaluru; and Dr. M. P. Shyam, President of RSST, Bengaluru. The General Chairs were Prof. Mohammad Shorif Uddin from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh; Prof. Jagdish Chand Bansal from South Asian University, Delhi; Prof. Touhid Bhuiyan from Washington University of Science and Technology, USA; Dr. Noor Firdoos Jahan, Professor and Head, Department of Marketing at RV Institute of Management, Bengaluru; and Dr. Purushottam Bung, Professor and Director at RV Institute of Management, Bengaluru. The Organizing Secretaries were Abhishek Verma from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak; Lokesh Chouhan from the National Forensic Sciences University, Goa Campus; and Saroj Hiranwal from the Victorian Institute of Technology, Australia.
With its robust academic foundation, selective acceptance standards, reputed publication opportunities, and global representation in terms of speakers and participants, IJCACI 2025 emerged as a premier international platform for researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to share cutting-edge developments and foster collaborations in the field of computational intelligence.
